Brandon Byun is a dedicated family law attorney committed to helping clients navigate difficult legal and personal transitions with clarity, preparation, and steady support. A graduate of UMass School of Law and a Massachusetts-licensed attorney, Brandon brings a strong foundation in litigation, client advocacy, legal research, and practical problem-solving to his work with families.
While in law school, Brandon developed hands-on advocacy experience through the Criminal Prosecution Clinic, where he represented the Commonwealth in District Court proceedings, including bail arguments, arraignments, and dispositions. This experience strengthened his courtroom presence, judgment, and ability to think carefully under pressure. He also served in the Immigration Clinic, where he managed asylum matters, prepared client declarations, and guided clients through sensitive legal issues requiring trust, attention to detail, and compassionate communication.
Before entering family law practice, Brandon gained valuable experience in bankruptcy and litigation support at Bucacci & Simonian, P.C., where he assisted with Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy matters, drafted motions and memoranda, attended hearings, and helped improve client-intake workflows. These experiences gave him a practical understanding of financial stress, documentation, and the importance of organized case preparation, skills that are especially important in divorce and family law matters involving support, assets, and long-term planning.
Brandon approaches each case with diligence, empathy, and a focus on helping clients feel informed and supported. He understands that family law clients are often facing uncertainty about their children, finances, homes, and futures. His goal is to listen carefully, prepare thoroughly, and help clients move forward with confidence and realistic guidance.
In addition to his legal background, Brandon brings advanced technical and analytical skills to his practice, including experience with legal technology, technical research tools, case-management systems, and financial data analysis. This allows him to approach cases with both legal judgment and operational precision.
For Brandon, family law is an opportunity to guide people through some of the most challenging moments of their lives with compassion, preparation, and purpose. He is committed to helping clients protect what matters most and build a more stable path forward.
