Marie E. Reidy is the Managing Attorney of Wright Family Law, bringing more than two decades of dedicated family law experience to the firm. In her leadership role, Marie oversees the firm’s legal operations, mentors attorneys, and helps ensure that every client receives exceptional representation and personalized service. She continues to provide strategic guidance in complex divorce and family law matters, drawing on her extensive courtroom experience and deep understanding of the challenges families face during periods of significant transition.
Attorney Reidy received her Juris Doctor from New England School of Law and earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of South Florida. While in law school, she worked for the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office before beginning her legal career at a general practice firm and later establishing her own law practice.
Throughout her career, Attorney Reidy has concentrated on divorce and family law matters, including child custody, parenting time, child support, alimony, property division, and other complex domestic relations issues. She has extensive litigation experience throughout Plymouth, Norfolk, and Bristol Counties and is a Certified Divorce and Family Law Mediator. Her professional training also includes Collaborative Law, and she serves as a Parenting Coordinator, Conciliator, and ARC Attorney (Attorney Representing Children).
Attorney Reidy has been appointed by the Probate and Family Court as a Category F Guardian ad Litem in multiple counties, where she investigates and reports on matters affecting children, including custody disputes, visitation concerns, relocation cases, and allegations of domestic violence or substance abuse. Her work in this capacity reflects her commitment to objectivity, professionalism, and the best interests of children and families.
In addition to her litigation and mediation practice, Attorney Reidy has held numerous leadership positions within the legal community. She has supervised and mentored family law attorneys, developed legal training programs, and promoted the highest standards of professional excellence. She has also served as Lawyer of the Day for the Plymouth County Probate and Family Court, assisting self-represented litigants, and participated in the Limited Assistance Representation pilot program to expand access to justice. Attorney Reidy has presented seminars on family law and domestic violence issues and remains actively involved in community service initiatives.
