Deed Preparation and Recording Service

When all you need is just a deed

Deed Preparation and Recording Service

A Deed is a legal document used to transfer real estate from one person or entity to another. With a Quitclaim Deed, the “Grantor” (the seller) relinquishes, or quits, all of his or her claim to the property, but makes no warranty or claims about the property. Common uses of Quitclaim deeds are:

  • Transferring property between related persons or family members.
  • Funding a trust for estate planning.
  • Settling title disputes.
  • Transferring property to one spouse in a divorce.

We’re here to help facilitate the process of transferring your timeshare or property with our a la carte deed preparation and recording services.

How it Works

  1. Start by clicking the ‘prepare my deed’ button to access our deed request form. This form takes about 5 – 7 minutes to complete and asks for simple information about your property and it’s ownership history. You may return the form to us either in person or by email.
  2. Your deed will be prepared based on the information collected once we receive payment. Payment can be made online, or by cash or check.  Other fees may be required to complete process, at which point we will contact you and charge for any additional services. Once your deed has been processed and returned you will be notified.
  3. Standard Deed Prep service includes instructions for DIY recording. Our Deluxe and Platinum Deed Prep service will return signed documents to us for assembly and recording.
