Meet Alethea Shaddox

Alethea is a native to the Merrimack Valley and has been a fantastic addition to Wright Family Law Group.

Alethea likes to work with all clients and enjoys getting to know people during the process. Because her personal favorite thing to do is laugh, she has been able to find ways to help people relax during what can only be described as a ‘difficult process.’ “I’m one of the very fortunate people in the world who does not feel like work is work,” she says. “I love what I do.”

Alethea joined Wright Family Law Group in the fall of 2018. She focuses her practice in two areas, which often go hand in hand; bankruptcy and family law. Alethea handles chapter 7 and chapter 13 bankruptcy as well as divorce, custody, child support, modifications, and contempt proceedings.

Alethea earned her Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Sociology from the University of Massachusetts. She was selected for induction into Alpha Kappa Delta, an international honor society for Sociology majors. She then obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Massachusetts School of Law. While attending law school, Alethea worked full-time as a bankruptcy paralegal for 10 years. Alethea resides in Lowell and enjoys spending time with her family. She is a member of the Lawrence Bar Association and the Women’s Bar Association.

Alethea found her way to helping preserve and protect families through her compassion and life experiences. Her professional “superpowers” are her outstanding financial analysis and writing skills, which helps Wright Family Law Group create a solid foundation for its clients. Alethea values the love and support of her family, that has seen her through many difficult times.
